There is a lot of interest in autonomous cars. The hype tells us that “in just a few years” autonomous vehicles will be able to be driven on any road. They will be commercially available in five years, said Google founder Sergey Brin in 2012, and in Norway, the minister of transportation explained that there is no need to regulate Uber as we will have driverless taxies in a few years. All of this seems very promising.
