The Canadian Satellite Design Challenge (CSDC) is a Canada-wide competition for teams of university students to design and build a three-unit CubeSat satellite measuring 10cm × 10cm × 34cm (4in × 4 in × 13 in) and weighing no more than 4 kg (8.8 lb). The CSDC has been structured to present a significant learning and career development opportunity for participants. It challenges them to excel in a technologically advanced domain and learn interdisciplinary technical, teamwork, leadership, and management skills. Additionally, the CSDC provides mentorship and hands-on development opportunities for participants.
