Artificial gravity—it’s a concept you are probably already familiar with. According to Wikipedia, it is defined as “the creation of an inertial force that mimics the effects of a gravitational force.” The idea is that humans will have the ability, through technology or some superhuman/magical power, to create a gravitational field that mimics the pull of gravity that we feel while on Earth. Whether it’s on a futuristic spaceship, on a far-off planet, or in a fantasy world, being able to manipulate gravity gives humans an advantage and allows us to function anywhere in the universe as we would on Earth.
